Volume

This is a project which was created during my BA Fashion Design course in Berlin. The inspiration was volume and all it’s varieties. The task itself was to manipulate fabric by using artisanal techniques so that volume was created and the form was altered.

I managed to introduce volume to this garment by including a rhombus within every vertical seem.

The result is a dress with a balloony kind of skirt….
